Integration and Transformation Multiple Sources
Brief Description
I/T Multiple Sources - on occasion the source for a corporate information factory data base will consist of more than one operational table. In this case the designer needs to carefully map the sources of data. In particular the designer needs to specify under what conditions one source will be used and under what conditions another source will be used. The conditions surrounding the source data become a part of the definition of the source in this case.
